Day 230: Tree Canopy
Just a shot of the sun peeking through the top of a tree canopy. I thought it was pretty nice, and trust me, it was this or a photo of all the hair that got brushed off our Golden. You can thank me, now.
Day 169: Moonlit Palm Tree
I grabbed this shot of the palm tree outside the beach house as we were leaving in the early morning to come home. Believe it or not, that’s the moon, not the sun. I wish I had woken myself up earlier a few of the mornings to try some other moon shots, but sleeping in is a rarity for me.

Day 70: Evening Tree
After dinner, I went outside trying to capture a shot of the evening sky. I’ve always known that my neighborhood is horrible for landscapes, as there are power lines and other obstructions in just about every direction, but it really frustrated me tonight. I finally found an angle, and a helpful exposure, that enabled me to get this shot before the light completely disappeared.
Day 69: Cold Blooms
I went outside to capture the blooms on the tree with rays from the sun sprinkled across them, but as I stood there studying it, my nose and fingers kept getting colder. The blooms may have heralded Spring, but the wind still occasionally has a bite of Winter in it. So, I decided to convert this photo into what I really felt as I took it.
Day 66: Spring Blossoms
I always love it when the trees start blossoming. Spring is finally making an appearance.
